NEW TIPS

hello all

a few tips for you

always hang designs out of direct sunlight to prevent fading colours

attach beads using a thread to match the background colour instead of the individual bead this will save you having to change your thread colour

if a mark refuses to come out by hand washing and its in an unstitched area you can disguise it by stitching over the mark in the colour of your fabric

How do you store your threads?

I use the bobbin method, i wind my threads on bobbins and keep them in plastic trays. I label the bobbin with a sticker representing the colour of the thread. I have 3 boxes each almost full.
Still in search of more threads though lol

I always make a copy of the pattern so when i stitch i mark off each square, that way i will know were i am during stitching, this also helps for when i have to finish, as when i got back to it i no where i am.

Also at the end i will still be able to see exactly on the orig where all the backstitching lines are rather then trying to see over the marked off paper.
